Stefanie Izzo

Stefanie Izzo (Josephine/Chorus) is excited to be making her debut with GaSLOCoLI as Josephine in H.M.S. Pinafore. Recent opera and musical theater credits include: The Magic Flute (Pamina), Ravel's L'Enfant et les Sortileges (La Princesse), Dido and Aeneas (Belinda), Sweeney Todd (Johanna), and Carousel (Julie Jordan). She has appeared in numerous concerts and recitals throughout New York and New Jersey, including a performance with the New York Choral Society at Avery Fisher Hall.

An avid Italian enthusiast, Stefanie spent two summers studying Italian opera at the Florence Voice Seminar and was the first-ever recipient of the National Italian American Foundation's Andrea Bocelli Music Scholarship.

When not gaily tripping around onstage, she spends her time working as a fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, a national non-profit organization. Stefanie holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from New York University. Many thanks to all involved in this lovely show!
