Daniel Buccheri


Daniel Buccheri (Ralph Rackstraw) - Dan is very pleased to be performing with GaSLOCoLI in this wonderful production. He was recently seen performing in the company’s production of “A Grand and Glorious Feeling.” He is currently working on a B.M. in Vocal Performance degree at Long Island University. In the LIU Opera Department he has workshopped/performed the roles of Alfredo (La Traviata), Count Almaviva (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Nemorino (L’Elisir D’Amore), Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Ferrando (Così fan tutte), and Candide (Candide). He is also currently receiving additional training from The Juilliard School.

He has performed numerous solos with the LIU Chorus and Chambers Singers in pieces such as Vaughan Williams’ Serenade to Music, and was most recently the Tenor soloist in the major work the Bach Magnificat. This past year, he was the Tenor soloist in Schubert’s Mass in G Major with the White Plains Community Church followed by a CD recording with this group. Past theatre credits include the Long Island Premiere of Jane Eyre: the Musical, where he portrayed “Lord Ingram” and was a soloist throughout the ensemble numbers.

Upon completing his B.M., Dan plans to pursue Opera on graduate level. He looks forward to performing with this company more in the near future. He would also like to thank his family and friends especially James, Katrina, and Kate for all their support in this production and all his other music escapades.
